You are going to tell us a story by combining 5 images into one master image.

You will be digitally assembling several images to make a final image – for screen display. In film this is called compositing.

In this project you will be using any software that you have (or have access to) that can bring together several different images into ONE. 
(Photoshop is the one of the most used tools, but there are many others)

First you need Decide on your story.

What do you want to tell us?

Then, Using 5 images together create a master digital image that moves your audience.

Your story does not have to be deep or have existential meaning. We should understand where we are and what you want us to FEEL.

In the Visual Story, Bruce Block tells us that your cast of characters, are the basic visual components:

Space, line, shape, tone, color, movement and rhythm can help you convey moods and emotions.

In your digital imagery program, you will use Transformations (For instance, Scale and size, transparency, color, rotation etc) to express yourself.

YOUR story does not have to be. complicated.  For instance, An event, a ceremony, a moment in time when everything changed.

Take us to someplace we know or someplace abstract.

Using only 5 images, combine them and create a world that we can recognize.

Take us on a journey.

Now assemble your story.  You can use your imagination to create whatever you want.
Gather your resources. We should clearly be able to see the action.  No matter what kind of an artist you are – you can make a simple story.

WHAT TO DO:

1.  Decide on your story and Please create or download at least 5 IMAGES.  Open up a digital imagery program on your computer and use your resources to record your story. Save it and
Post the VISUAL story here. (Save it as a jpeg)

2.  And In a short paragraph, describe briefly what images you used and why you used them.  LIST your images and what they added to your story.

3.  Please post COMMENTS on at least three of your classmate’s postings. Don’t get bogged down in introspection. Do it quickly and explain why you think so.
