A 1500+ word paper detailing individual experience of giving up something of value to the student for 1 weekend. The student will select some substance, food, behavior, or habit and remain abstinent from it for 72 hours. Journal experiences, thoughts, feelings, and actions in relation to the abstinence process and chronicle it in a paper for submission.

GRADING: 

30 points each / rubric posted in the Assignments folder: 

10 points for organization, 10 points for creativity/insights, 5 points for grammar/syntax, 5 points for applying course concpets by citing relevant readings

Late submissions (if pre-arranged) are subject to a reduction of 5 grade points per day
